Club Competitions
Hobart Brewers runs several competitions a year open to club members. Judging is in the BJCP format with written scoresheets provided to entrants.
The next competition is for Amber and Red Ales on 19 June.
In November we will be holding a Belgian beer style competition.
Tasmanian State Homebrew Competition
The club is instrumental in organising the annual Tasmanian State Home Brew Competition. For 2025 the TSHBC will be held at Hobart Brewing Co. 16 Evans St Hobart Hobart on 23 August 2025.

Entries with place first, second or third for their category are eligible to enter the Australian Amateur Brewing Championships. Entry fees to the AABC are paid form the TSHBC funds and Hobat Brewers will cover the postage costs for club members.

Australian Amateur Brewing Championships
For 2025 the AABC will be hosted by the WASABC at Phat Brew Club 102 Railway St, West Perth WA 6005 on 25 October 2025.
